The Tall Ship is a very large installation that I designed for the Lake of Spain in the grounds of Expo 92 in Seville. Although the project was well received by the authorities and approved, for those vagaries of life, never was built. Later on, I presented it as a proposal in Vancouver, to be built in English Bay, as the Captain Vancouver’s tall ship, mooring at the entrance of False Creek. It was supposed to be 125 m. tall, 410 feet, and the mast were to move in the wind. The whole thing was visitable, creating a very interesting tourist attraction. It didn’t happen here either.
